The number of foreign tourists wishing to visit Sochi increases every year. In 2008 only “Sochi Holidays” has provided shore excursions to more than 8000 cruise tourists from 23 vessels. “Sochi Holidays” company works not only with foreign cruise lines, but also pays a lot of attention to the development of cruise tourism in Russia. Cruises from Sochi to the Mediterranean and around Europe have started since 2002. In 2008 “Van Gogh” cruise liner has made 6 voyages with more than 4000 Russian tourists aboard.
